CALL FOR PAPERS
Columbia South Asia Review is a bi-annual open accessed, peer-reviewed undergraduate online academic journal based out of Columbia University. It is a representative international scholarly forum that focuses on furthering knowledge and understanding of South Asia through the promotion of outstanding undergraduate research from both the social sciences and humanities.
We invite all undergraduates and recently graduated scholars to submit full length research articles for its first web-based volume, to be published in Spring 2016. Any author may submit up to two articles for consideration.
Submission guidelines and further information
Length: Articles, double-spaced (12-point font, preferably Times New Roman), including all references, should not exceed 30 pages and the style should conform to that outlined in the Chicago
Manual of Style, 16th Edition (University of Chicago Press).
Coversheet: Include the following information on a separate sheet
– Title of the Research material
– An abstract of no more than 300 words
– Your full name, academic institution, and e-mail address.
Bibliography: Each article should include a complete bibliography section of all works cited. All citations should be in the Chicago-Style, see Chicago-Style Quick Guide for examples.
The editorial board reviews all submissions anonymously. In order to avoid conflicts of interest in the selection process, remove your name and other identifying information from all document pages except for the cover sheet.
The deadline for submission is February 15th, 2016. Please send your manuscripts or questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. The authors will be notified on the acceptance by March 1, 2016. Articles must be original and hitherto unpublished.
